A Work In Progress...
What am I up to lately? That's a tough question to sum up in a brief website, the short answer... a little bit of everything.
My original ideal career was graphics design, which I spent the better part of four years pursuing, during major life changing events. I particularly enjoy the ways typography is used to emphasize different visual agendas, and how the perfect blend of type, visuals, and layout can combine to create a visual masterpiece. Towards the end of my graphic design degree, I had the chance to take a few 3d Graphics classes, which I decided to pursue after winning a national competition in 3d Graphics.
My interest in 3d Graphics lead me to pursuing a degree in 3d Animation, which I spent the better part of a year obtaining the equivalent of a bachelor's degree in the field (spending 40+ hours/week in class), from a school which is a branch of Boston University. I was able to learn a great deal of every major aspect of 3d Graphics, including: Modeling, Rending, Character Rigging, and Animation. I have a fond interest in 3d architectural visualization (designing for both real future projects, and purely fictional structures).
I was able to work for a web design company in Provo, UT. where I was able to exercise my graphic design, flash, and web design skills. I am now in pursuit of a Computer Science degree at the University of Utah, and plan on obtaining thorough knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and languages.
